Payment

When you buy online, it's good to know that you're secure. Gymworld use a secure server when processing payments and all information is sent via an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection. What this means is the your data is encrypted (128bit encryption) when it's being sent from Gymworld to our payment site a vice-versa. This vastly improves the security of your data when it is being passed between two places.

Gymworld also uses the 3D Secure payment system when you use a Mastercard or Visa credit card or debit card. You may have seen and used the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode screen after you've made an online payment on most modern websites. These are the card issuers respective names for the 3D Secure system. You set up a password when you first use the 3D Secure service and then you use it each time thereafter. This service has been specifically set up to prevent online credit card fraud.

Gymworld actively try to prevent all types of credit card fraud and we use the SagePay payment system, PayPal and Google Checkout, all of which are set up to be as secure as possible when payments are concerned. SagePay, for instance, will check several factors when a credit card or debit card payment seems suspicious and will advise us on how to proceed should they think a card payment is fraudulent. Google Checkout also has great security and will refuse a card payment outright if it doesn't pass the necessary security checks. PayPal features a validation service where they can validate a user's address and other details when an account is registered.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, Maestro, Switch, Solo. Please note: when you are at the checkout phase, if you have an old Visa Electron or Visa Delta card then you can select Visa Debit as the payment option.
