Exercise Bikes
Exercise bikes are very popular pieces of fitness equipment. An exercise bike is more compact, quieter and easier to move than most other exercise and fitness machines. Modern exercise bikes easily out-perform exercise bikes from just a few years ago.
How exercise bikes operate can vary though two main systems prevail, either permanent magnetic resistance or electromagnetic resistance. Exercise bikes with electromagnetic braking generally cost more but are the quietest, offer higher resistance levels and are more accurate than standard magnetic exercise bikes.
As children many of us would have played on an ordinary cycle, so using an exercise bike as an adult seems second nature. Getting used to the seat is usually the hardest part of owning a new exercise bike, but this doesn't take long. Along with the bonus of low impact exercise, an exercise bike is quiet enough for you to use without disturbing others, and you can even watch TV whilst on one.
Because of their size and weight most exercise bikes are delivered by a road carrier. Exercise bikes carry low profits for the retailer so free installation is not the norm, but most exercise bikes can be self-assembled within 30 to 50 minutes, and some exercise bikes (Tunturi exercise bikes in particular) take very little time.
