Our Opinion of the Horizon Fitness Oxford II CS Rower:

We wish all fitness products "hit the spot" and "ticked the boxes" like this one. Of course there are better rowers - at a price; and yes, there are cheaper machines - but usually at the expense of performance, quality and feel.

The Oxford II is simply outstanding value for money and allows you to perform a rowing exercise smoothly and in great style. Inevitably it gets compared with a Concept 2 because it has air/fan resistance. Is it as good as a Concept 2? Of course not. The Concept 2 is the benchmark of air rowers, a full commercial machine. If you want a Concept 2, buy a Concept 2, even if you have to save up for a while. Otherwise, you`ll end up disappointed no matter how good the Oxford II rower is.

So, if you want a really good rowing machine to get fit on at home without breaking the bank, we think this is the best one to choose. At half the price of the Concept 2, you won't find a better value rowing machine for the home or small gym.

Downside? Its a long machine - be sure it will fit. And remember its a fan which creates the resistance, so its a little noisy - not a lot though (not like a treadmill) but we just want you to be aware of it.

The Oxford II CS provides feedback on time, heart rate, distance, calories, strokes and counter (per minute).

Installation

All home fitness machines are designed for self-assembly any tools required are usually included in the box, but Gymworld does offer an installation service on some of its products sometimes this is available free of charge on selected items, subject to our terms and conditions (some post codes, types of building and other locations may be excluded). If you choose to have equipment installed we will phone you to arrange a time and day. Our installers will leave your machine ready to use and will remove all packaging for responsible disposal.

Deliveries

We deliver throughout mainland GB from Monday to Friday, using our own nationwide delivery and installation team together with our partners TNT one of the UK's largest delivery companies. We also offer a delivery service to N.Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands which is available for an extra charge, please call us for pricing.

We understand that our customers are busy people and may not be available during the working week and so we offer Saturday delivery on many items for an additional £20.00 if you place your order on line and request a Saturday delivery our sales team will call you to arrange payment.
