BCE Riley is the UK's leading producer of snooker and pool tables for the home, pool and snooker halls and professional tournaments. Riley had humble beginnings as a sports shop in Manchester way back in the 1890’s. Over the course of the last century, Riley went on to grow and prosper.

It was only during the 1970’s when snooker began its meteoric rise in public popularity thanks in the main to the colour television and one man, Barry Hearn. Steve Davis, possibly the greatest player to pick up a cue had a huge part to play in the success Riley enjoyed throughout the 70’s and 80’s.

In the 1970's a company called BCE was formed to rival the dominance in the snooker and pool industry that Riley had enjoyed. BCE created top quality tables for tournaments and clubs as well as more affordable tables for the home. This diverse product range helped BCE to grow quickly and soon they became the world leader in snooker and pool equipment.

In 2002 BCE had outgrown the historic Riley brand and decided to take the then struggling Riley brand on to create the dominant force in snooker and pool that they are today.
