When you call us you will find that our staff are easy-going people who will not try to hard-sell fitness equipment which is not relevent to your needs just so they can make a commission-based sale, as can be the case with many sales people. Our staff are not paid commissions - they are there to listen and advise as best they can. This has been our core philoshopy for over twenty-five years, and it seems to work well.

At Gymworld we offer our customers a series of finance packages to suit various budgets. With the Gymworld finance packages more expensive pieces of exercise equipment such as treadmills, cross trainers, rowing machines, exercise bikes and multi gyms can become more affordable without having to pay the whole cost in one go. The Gymworld payment plan breaks down the cost of purchases of more expensive pieces of home fitness equipment into small monthly payments.
At Gymworld we use the a PaybyFinance scheme that has been developed by Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance.

Installation
General information regarding Installation Service
Whilst many models of fitness equipment are designed for self-assembly we learned over twenty years ago that many of our customers preferred to have this service available to them.
Choosing to have your piece of fitness equipment installed for you means we will build the machine in the room of your choice, ready for you to use. If you wish, we will also remove for disposal all packaging which came with the equipment, potentially saving you a trip to the tip.
We have recently launched our Gymworld EarlyBird Installation Service which has many benefits for those of you who are early risers and do not wish to take time off work.
Similarly, we now offer a Weekend Installation Service, subject to availability.
On the day of installation, please be mindful to have clear and safe access within your property for our installation personnel, just as you would with any other piece of household equipment or furnishing being delivered.
Also, please note that our installation service is restricted to mainland GB and is not currently available to the Highlands of Scotland, and that we reserve the right to withdraw the service in the interests of health and safety or commercial viability if delivery and/or installation is affected by such things as adverse weather, unsafe or difficult access either within the property or en route there.

Warranty Info
Home Fitness Equipment Spares, Repairs and Warranties
When you buy fitness or weights equipment from Gymworld, it will be covered by a manufacturers warranty. The warranties on your products are provided by the manufacturers and any relevant repairs will be provided by the manufacturer in question. The manufacturers of your product know their equipment very well and will generally be able to quickly respond to any service issues you may have. Please see the contact details chart at the bottom of this list for contact details.
In the event of a product breakdown, please refer to the warranty under which you purchased your equipment. They are normally in any of the following formats:
- Parts Only (with warranty length)
- Parts and Labour (with warranty length)
- Lifetime
With a Parts Only warranty, the parts will be delivered to your address. The manufacturer will generally need some proof of purchase to send out your parts, whether it's a confirmation of order email from Gymworld (which you receive with any online order) or a faxed copy of a paper invoice. If you do not have a proof of purchase then you can still obtain one. Please ask the manufacturer how they would like you to proceed in this case. They may request a proof of purchase from us which we can send to them on your behalf.
With a Parts and Labour warranty, the manufacturer is offering an “on-site” warranty (they come to you to fix your equipment) so you needn't worry about sending a 100kg treadmill back to base. Most manufacturers will be able to service your equipment within 14 days of contact. Please remember that each manufacturer will only have a limited amount of service engineers who will be in certain areas on certain days.
When you see a lifetime warranty, what the manufacturer is saying is that they think the part will not fail during a reasonable working lifetime, usually about 20 years if not longer. When manufacturers add the “Lifetime” part to a warranty, it means they have a lot of faith in their parts which generally means a good, reliable machine. It also means that should the worst happen, you'll still be covered years down the line for the parts that have the “Lifetime” warranty.
