Equipment In The Celebrity Big Brother House 2012

Lancashire’s Gym World is the supplier of fitness equipment for Celebrity Big Brother 2012. This includes Trixter exercise bikes, Landice treadmills, crosstraniners, and other additional items to keep the celebrities fighting fit for the tough challenges, if and when they arise. Celebrities like Romeo Dunn and Rugby star Gareth Thomas have well defined muscles and may prefer to weight train rather than use cardio machines. Increased muscle mass builds a higher metabolism, which allows the body to burn fat for up to 48-hours. Adding 1lb of lean muscle mass burns an additional fifty calories per day.

Celebrity Big Brother Fitness Challenges

Glamour model turned bodybuilder Jodie Marsh entered the Big Brother House to challenge contestants to a tough challenge. The first morning task was clearly explained to both teams and consisted of drinking a breakfast of six raw eggs. The first celebrity to succeed would receive a five second advantage in later tasks. Natalie Cassidy competed against Michael Madsen, who lost to a competitive Natalie who won the first task for team red.

Jodie explained that bodybuilders complete wearing fake tan, which enhances muscle definition, and each Big Brother contestant had to smother his or her body in fake tan in preparation for the strong man pose judged by Jodie Marsh. Team blue succeeded.

The second challenge involved Playboy twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon who were smothered in fake tan and told to run up and down a red carpet posing for the paparazzi during a bleep test. The winner was rewarded with a five second advantage in the final challenge.

The final challenge was a head-to-head “Survival of the Fittest” with team red leader MC Romeo Dunn and team blue leader Welsh Rugby Star Gareth Thomas volunteering for this daring stunt, which involved each celebrity climbing a 60-foot ‘fame’ ladder picking up letters on the way. Each celebrity soon discovered that the collected letters spelt celebrity, and Romeo achieved victory against Gareth.

Team red were crowned as champions because they triumphed in the fitness challenge. In addition, they were rewarded with an extravagant meal cooked by Italian celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, who is a Big Brother fan. Celebrities were treated to spicy wasabi mash and a Japanese salad with tuna, mixed roasted peppers with mozzarella and aged balsamic vinegar and mozzarella and stuffed mushrooms with sun dried tomatoes and goats cheese. For dessert, celebrities devoured chocolate brownies, biscuit ice cream and Aldo’s signature tiramisu.

Which Celebrities Need to Stay Trim

Several of the celebrities are renowned for their slim figure, including the gorgeous Playboy twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, who are very likely to want to keep their plump derriere in shape. The exercise equipment available includes the crosstraniner, exercise bikes, and treadmills. Other celebrities who are required to keep a trim figure includes gorgeous lingerie model Georgia Salpa and page three beauty Nicola McLean, who are likely to make use of the equipment provided by Lancashire’s Gym World.
