Chest Machines

Strong shoulder muscle are a must in sports like American Football, Boxing, Basketball, Cricket, Rugby, Swimming and even some Track and Field events. As a muscle group, they can be difficult to isolate; even though they are used in the majority of movements in day to day life. They contribute with other large muscle groups of the body to channel a lot of power through the arms.

Seated shoulder press is a great exercise that targets a large part of the shoulder muscles. By being seated users are unable to use momentum to propel the weight above their head, meaning the movement comes solely from the shoulders and triceps muscles.

As great as the shoulder press is, it only targets a certain section of the shoulder. Lateral raise and rear delt machines should be used to make up an entire shoulder workout. By working these smaller yet just as significant muscle groups you can ensure a strong and stable shoulder that in turn produces a lot of power.
